GEODOME GLAMPING

NEAR HUNTSVILLE, AL

Two riverfront geodomes sit on the Flint River in Brownsboro, Alabama, climate controlled and close enough to hear the water at night. Float the Flint by day, then walk back to a real bed instead of a tent. Geodomes start at $200 a night.

TWO RIVERFRONT GEODOMES FOR WATERFRONT GLAMPING IN BROWNSBORO, AL

Both riverfront geodomes sit just steps apart on the riverbank and can be booked individually or together for larger groups. Your exact arrival and departure times will be posted here and confirmed in your FlyBook booking email, taking all the guesswork out of your trip.

EVERY STAY INCLUDES

Both domes come with the same run of the property, so this part is not a choice between the two.

  • Fishing along the Flint River

  • Goat interaction on the property

  • The on-site playground

  • Access to the property trails

  • Access to the kayak launch

PET FRIENDLY GEODOMES

Geodomes are family and pet-friendly, and TGL is open roughly April through October. There is no pet fee; dogs under 40 pounds are welcome. Bring your dog, your kids, or both; just note it when you book. Guests planning to kayak during their stay should know there is no minimum age for on-water activities; a parent or legal guardian just needs to sign for any minor paddler.

THE ONLY RIVERFRONT GLAMPING
WITH ON-SITE KAYAKING

Most glamping near Huntsville means a safari tent pitched somewhere in the woods at a state park, with the nearest water a drive away. TGL is different because the geodomes sit on the riverbank itself, and the kayak fleet used for daytime floats is stored on the same property. That means a guest can paddle a stretch of the Flint in the afternoon and be back in a climate-controlled dome by dinner, without repacking a car or driving to a second location. It is the float-by-day, sleep-by-night pairing that a state park or a standalone glamping site cannot offer, because neither one owns the water in front of it.

HOW FAR IS
IT FROM HUNTSVILLE

TGL Adventures sits at 332 Brownsboro Rd in the McMullen Cove area, about 15 minutes off Governors Drive from downtown Huntsville. It is close enough for a same-day booking and far enough to feel like a real trip out of town. Guests traveling from Nashville or Birmingham, both roughly two hours away, often build a full weekend around one night in a dome.

FLOAT THE FLINT DURING YOUR STAY

The stay is the second half of the trip. TGL Adventures also rents single and tandem kayaks with shuttle service on the same property, so you can paddle in the morning and sleep on the river that night instead of driving home.
