EIGHT RIVERSIDE CAMPSITES BEHIND THE DOMES
TGL Adventures offers eight primitive tent sites set along a quiet stretch of the Flint River behind the geodomes. Each site sits close enough to the water to launch a kayak straight from your spot rather than a distant shared lot, filling the air with river sounds rather than road noise from April through October. On-site parking is available for $10 per vehicle, payable upon arrival to receive your day pass from a staff member, and while credit cards are accepted, checks are not permitted.

PET FRIENDLY CAMPING NEAR HUNTSVILLE
Dogs are welcome at every campsite, no weight limit and no pet fee. Keep your dog leashed and clean up after them, the same as any campground, and you're responsible for your pet during your stay. A tent site with the dog right there by the fire is part of what makes this the easiest overnight option on the Flint.

WITH ON-SITE KAYAKING
Primitive camping near Huntsville usually means a wooded site at a state park, with the water a drive away and your gear staying in the car until you get there. TGL is different because the sites sit directly on the Flint River, and the same kayak fleet used for daytime floats is stored on the property behind the domes. That means you can wake up, walk your kayak to the water, and paddle a stretch of the river before anyone at a state park lot has finished loading a car. It is the same float-by-day, sleep-by-night pairing the geodomes offer, just at the lowest price point on the property, and dogs are welcome at every site. A state park can hand you a map to the water. TGL hands you a paddle from your own campsite.

IT FROM HUNTSVILLE
TGL Adventures sits at 332 Brownsboro Rd in the McMullen Cove area, about 15 minutes off Governors Drive from downtown Huntsville. It is close enough to load the car after work and be at your site before dark, and far enough to actually feel like a night away. Guests coming from Madison, Owens Cross Roads, or Meridianville treat it as a same-day trip, no advance planning required.
FLOAT THE FLINT DURING YOUR STAY
The stay is the second half of the trip. TGL Adventures also rents single and tandem kayaks with shuttle service on the same property, so you can paddle in the morning and sleep on the river that night instead of driving home.
